UAPF paid its depositors more than 704 billion tenge
As of March 1, 2021, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund has made payments to 385,500 recipients. In general, more than 585 thousand pension payments, one-time pension payments and transfers to insurance organizations totaling more than 704 billion tenge were made, including:
- one-time pension payments – 649.9 billion tenge
- transfers to insurance organizations – 19.3 billion tenge;
- payments on reaching the retirement age - 15.9 billion tenge;
- inheritance payments – 13.3 billion tenge;
- in connection with the departure for permanent residence - 4.5 billion tenge;
- payments for burial – 0.9 billion tenge;
- disability payments – 0.4 billion tenge.
It is worth noting that the amount of the average monthly payment according to the schedule (in connection with the achievement of retirement age) the maximum amount of the monthly payment was 28,322 tenge, and the maximum amount of the monthly payment was 522,610 tenge.
UAPF was established on August 22, 2013 on the basis of JSC "NPF "GNPF". The founder and shareholder of the UAPF is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Property and Privatization Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan is responsible for the trust management of the pension assets of the UAPF. Since January 1, 2016, the functions of developing proposals for improving the efficiency of pension asset management have been transferred to the National Fund Management Council. In accordance with the pension legislation, the UAPF attracts mandatory pension contributions, mandatory professional pension contributions, voluntary pension contributions, pension payments, individual accounting of pension savings and payments, and provides the depositor (recipient) with information about the state of his pension savings (for more information, see www.enpf.kz)
