Earlier, the Agency published a draft Presidential Decree "On the Approval of the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2029" on the "Open NPA" portal, where it received a significant amount of feedback from the public, stakeholders, and industry experts.

In this context, the ASPR continues discussions on the NDP until 2029. According to the Chairman of the Agency, the business community, alongside the expert community, has been actively involved in the preparation of this document from the very beginning.

"The purpose of today's meeting is to continue the dialogue with experts, as it is extremely important for us to create a document that responds to current challenges and ensures the achievement of the goal set by the Head of State to double our country's economy," emphasized Zhandos Shaimardanov.

Deputy Chairman of the NCE "Atameken" Gulnara Bizhanova noted that the National Development Plan is a strategic document of utmost importance.

"Considering today's global trends and ongoing world events, as well as the imbalances accumulated within the country, we believe that this document is designed to reset and put all sectors of the economy on the path to development, and we are ready to work together on its improvement," she stated.

Additionally, adviser to the Deputy Chairman of NCE "Atameken" Yerlan Smailov shared ideas on utilizing the potential of the mining and metallurgical complex for economic development and improving the country's social well-being, particularly regarding stimulating raw material processing, geological exploration, and the development of deposits.
