The Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms exchanged experience on strategic planning with representatives of Saudi Arabia

Today in Astana a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms (ASPR) Zhandos Shaimardanov and the President of the Saudi Centre for International Strategic Partnership (SCISP) Raad Al-Barakati.

At the opening of the event, ASPR Chairman Zhandos Shaimardanov spoke about the Agency's activities, work projects and the structure of the authority. At the same time, Deputy Chairman of the Agency Olzhas Tuleuov, presented to colleagues the project "Vision: Kazakhstan - 2050", as well as voiced the priorities of the strategy, opportunities and challenges of the country today.

In turn, the President of SCISP Raad Al-Barakati, also presented the structure of the state body and spoke about Saudi Arabia’s experience in implementing and monitoring "Vision - 2030". According to Riyad Alfaiz, Senior Vice President of SCISP, many of KPIs of the Saudi Vision 2030 strategy have been implemented ahead of schedule.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to develop further cooperation between the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Saudi Centre for International Strategic Partnership.
