The results of the Agency's activities were discussed by the Public Council

The Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms held a meeting of the Public Council.

Opening the event, the Chairman of the Agency, Zhandos Shaimardanov, suggested that the members elect a new chairman due to the departure of the previous head of the public council.

By unanimous decision, Madі Takiyev, a member of the Mazhilis Parliament and Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget, was elected as the new Chairman of the public council of ASPR RK.

The agenda included discussions on the progress of developing and approaching the project of the "Vision: Kazakhstan – 2050" strategy and the National Development Plan until 2029. Additionally, the implementation of the Agency's budget programs and an internal analysis of corruption risks were discussed.

The first speaker, Syrymbet Kaskeyev Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Agency, presented the Vision project and the main directions of the new strategy to the members of the Public Council.

Members of the Public Council, including Sultan Akimbekov, Adil Kusmanov, Elena Bakhtmutova, Bakhyt Essekina, Kairbek Arystanbekov, Erkin Tatishev, Banu Nurgaziyeva, and Sholpan Aitenova, provided suggestions and comments on the strategy project, which will be taken into account during its development.

Following that, Aygul Erekeshova Director of the Department of Administrative and Legal Support, reported on the implementation of budget programs, and a project of agency's budget programs for 2024-2026 was presented.

The head of the Bureau of National Statistics under the ASPR, Maksat Turlubayev, shared the results of the internal analysis of corruption risks in the activities of the Bureau, its territorial units, and the subordinated organization, the RSE on the IAS "Information and Computing Center."

In concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Public Council, Madi Takiyev, proposed approving the work plan for the next year and expressed gratitude for the trust and readiness for fruitful collaboration.
