The head of state met with the Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms Zhandos Shaimardanov

The President was presented with an analysis of the implementation of structural and institutional reforms in the economy of Kazakhstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also briefed on the progress of implementing the program for reforming national statistics and the execution of his directive to transform the Bureau of National Statistics into a digital entity.

The Chairman of the Agency reported that a draft law on state statistics and data management has been developed.

Following the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the importance of a thorough examination of socio-economic reforms and instructed to continue working in this direction.
