Today, at a briefing with representatives of foreign media, the Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aset Irgaliyev spoke about the activities of the department and large-scale changes in our country.
He noted that since last year, the Head of State initiated cardinal reforms of the political and economic systems. Kazakhstanis supported these intentions at the national referendum and presidential elections.
According to Aset Irgaliyev, economic reforms go "hand in hand" with political transformations. They are aimed at diversifying the economy, stimulating entrepreneurship and attracting investment. In order to create the necessary conditions, a package of measures is being implemented to ensure the rule of law, the development of fair competition and economic freedoms.
Thus, active work is underway to form new Budget and Tax Codes, modernize the judicial and law enforcement systems, ensure equal conditions and opportunities for entrepreneurship, as well as the development of infrastructure and industry. Much attention is paid to the development of human capital.
In general, the synergy of political and economic reforms is designed to ensure sustainable, high-quality and inclusive development of the country, increasing the well-being of every citizen of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by more than 10 foreign journalists (from Belgium, India, Italy, Iran, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Pakistan, Turkiye, Tajikistan and South Korea).
