At the Forum of Strategic Initiatives was announced a priority reforms

Today, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Tuleuov took part in the session "Top 7 reforms in the next 7 years" of the Forum for Strategic Initiatives (CSI Forum 2022).

During the panel session, issues of competition development, opportunities of the country's regions, small and microbusiness, the creation of coalitions, consolidation of expertise and the need to build inclusive institutions and much more were discussed.

Tuleuov during his performance noted that at the moment the following prioritization of reform processes is relevant: political reforms, then the transformation of the legal ecosystem and then economic democratization.

The speaker noted: "Taking into account that political reforms have already begun, further reform of the judicial and law enforcement systems is needed, the second point is increased competition, the fight against favoritism, demonopolization and de-oligopolization of markets, the third is the formation of effective economic incentives, namely the issue of tax reform and the adoption of a new Budget Code, the fourth is a transparent format of state interaction and business, and the fifth is social policy, including increasing the targeting of social support for the population," the Deputy head of the Agency said.

Within the framework of the forum, an online vote was held on the topic "Which of the top 7 reforms are the most important", as a result the reform of the judicial and law enforcement systems gained the largest number of votes.
