Productive meetings in the country of the Asian Economic Miracle

Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aset Irgaliyev is in Singapore on a working visit.

During the visit, the head of the Agency met with Zulkifli Baharudin, non-resident Ambassador of Singapore to Kazakhstan, Philip Yeo, Chairman of the Economic Development Innovations Singapore (EDIS), a well-known statesman, business guru and Jacqueline Poh, Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board.

The sides exchanged views on the reforms carried out in both countries, on Singapore's extensive experience in the field of housing construction, R&D, education and discussed issues of cooperation between the countries in various fields.

In addition, the Chairman of the Agency visited the Academy of Urban Redevelopment Authority, where its head Seow Kah Ping presented a detailed overview of the work done over decades to improve conditions for urban life, work and recreation. It is well known that the best practices of Singapore's development are an example of effective and sustainable world-class urban planning.
