Director of the Department of Macroeconomic Policy ASPIR RK appointed Syrymbet Kaskeev

Kaskeev Syrymbet Yerdenuly was appointed Director of the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kaskeev is a member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve. Within the framework of the department's activities, he will oversee the development of proposals for the formation and implementation of state macroeconomic policy, including monetary, fiscal and budgetary policies, decarbonization, the financial sector, and the shadow economy.

In 2014, he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in applied mathematics and computer science.

In various years, he took advanced training courses of the International Monetary Fund in financial programming and policy, fiscal analysis and forecasting.

In the period from 2014 to 2016, he consistently held the positions of senior expert, Deputy Director of the Center for Analytical Research and Forecasting of JSC "Institute of Economic Research". 

From 2016 to 2017, he worked at the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC as the Chief Manager of the Strategy and Planning Department. From 2017 to 2020, he held the position of Chief Manager of the Department of Analysis and Research of JSC "National Managing Holding "Baiterek", from 2020 to 2022 he held the position of Project Manager of the Department of Project Financing and Investor Relations of JSC "National Managing Holding "Baiterek".
