Hackathon training for the media "Fundamentals of information security in the financial market"

On February 21, 2024, the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Agency) organized a training hackathon for the media "Fundamentals of information security in the financial market".

During the event, journalists and bloggers got acquainted with the basic concepts of information security, learned about information security standards, as well as laws and regulations in the field of information security in Kazakhstan.

The Agency's specialists also told how the industry information security center and ASOI "Qainar" works, about the structure, tasks and functions of information and cybersecurity units in financial organizations, as well as how information security is checked in the country's financial market.

A separate section was devoted to information security and the fight against fraud in the financial market.

25 students took part in the event.
