Simplified procedure for the settlement of an insured event (Euro Protocol)

The Agency has carried out work on the introduction, from January 1, 2024, of a simplified procedure for applying for an insurance payment for compulsory motor insurance (hereinafter referred to as the Euro Protocol).

In order to settle insurance claims within the framework of the European Protocol, a traffic accident must meet special requirements:

There are 2 participants in a traffic accident who have a valid insurance policy;
the amount of damage is up to 100 MCI;
the participants in the traffic accident have no disagreement about who is the guilty party and who is the victim;
there is no harm to the health and property of third parties.

For the convenience of users of JSC Insurance Benefit Guarantee Fund, a special mobile application "Europrotocol" has been developed, which is available for downloads in the App Store and Google Play.

In the application, you can apply online to an insurance company, undergo biometric identification, attach digital documents, photos. Payments will be made by the insurance company on the basis of this application.

The application for insurance payment is sent to the insurance company at the scene of the accident without calling traffic police officers and going to court via a mobile application. The Euro protocol will significantly reduce the time of insurance payments from several months to several working days, as well as relieve traffic on the roads.

Today, citizens use a mobile application to receive insurance payments within the framework of the Euro Protocol.

If you have any questions about the Europrotocol application, you can contact either your insurance company or the unified call center of JSC Insurance Benefit Guarantee Fund by phone number
