About the 25th meeting of the Consultative Council on Currency Policy of National Banks of the EAEU Member States

On September 19, 2023 the delegation of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market under the leadership of the Chairperson Madina Abylkassymova took part in the 25th meeting of the Consultative Council on the currency policy of the national (central) banks of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was held in the Republic of Armenia.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, the National Bank of Belarus, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the meeting exchanged information on the current economic situation and the implementation of monetary policy, discussed areas of interaction between regulators and central (national) banks within the Eurasian Economic Union.

The Monetary Policy Advisory Council is a consultative and advisory body of central (national) banks and financial regulators of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
