About the 19th meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of the Heads of Insurance Supervision Authorities of the CIS Member States

The Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (hereinafter - the Agency) informs that the regular meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of Heads of Insurance Supervision Bodies of the CIS Member States (hereinafter - the Council) was held on September 19, 2023.

During its existence the Council has become a traditional platform for discussion of perspective directions, topical issues and tasks, exchange of experience by the heads of insurance supervisory bodies.

The Council was attended by representatives of the Agency, the Central Bank of Armenia, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the CIS Executive Committee, as well as representatives of insurance communities.

The Council was dedicated to the discussion of a wide range of topics relevant to the current moment, such as the economic situation in the CIS member states, priority areas of cooperation between the Commonwealth states in the insurance market, problems and prospects of development of the insurance market of the CIS member states.
