On holding the first Insurance Forum dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Insurance Benefit Guarantee Fund

The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) informs that the first Insurance Forum will be held on September 7-8, 2023, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Insurance Benefit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund).

From the moment of its creation, the Fund protects policyholders and provides a guarantee of insurance payments in case of liquidation of an insurance company.

The purpose of the first Insurance Forum is to bring together all participants of the domestic insurance market and international experts to exchange experience, discuss topical issues and tasks, as well as identify prospects and directions for the development of insurance products.

The first Insurance Forum will be attended by representatives of the insurance market of Kazakhstan, the Agency, the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, international organizations such as the International Forum of Insurance Guarantee Schemes (IFIGS), Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (PACICC), Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM), the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, as well as foreign insurance regulators the market.

Within the framework of the event, panel sessions are planned on various areas of insurance: the development of the insurance payment guarantee system, the introduction of modern international market regulation practices, digitalization and automation of insurance services.

The first Insurance Forum will be held at the InterContinental Almaty Hotel at 181 Zheltoksan Street, Almaty.
