Working meeting of financial regulators of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan

 

On June 15, 2022, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of Financial Market (the Agency) met with the representatives of the Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan for Development of Securities Market and Specialized Registrar.

The meeting was held via videoconference with the participation of Vice-Chairman of the Agency Mariya Khajiyeva and Director of the Agency for Development of Securities Market and Specialized Registrar of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Nigina Abdurahmonzoda.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current state of the securities market in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, the latest legislative changes, as well as further plans for the development of capital markets in the two countries.

By the end of the meeting the parties agreed to hold a series of events to exchange experiences to develop proposals for cooperation between to develop proposals for cooperation between financial regulators.
