The Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market recommends reading the alerts and warnings of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) IOSCO when entering into contractual relations with organizations that position themselves as "investment companies".
The International Organization of Securities Commissions receives alerts and warnings from its members about companies that are not authorized to provide investment services in the jurisdiction that provided the alert or warning. Some of the alerts or warnings concern unauthorized firms using names similar to authorized investment firms, or falsely claiming to be associated with authorized investment firms.
IOSCO publishes this data on Internet resources in the Investor Alerts Portal section at https://www.iosco.org/investor_protection/?subsection=investor_alerts_portal in the form of a list.
Alerts and warnings are provided by IOSCO members voluntarily. The content of the alerts and warnings is the responsibility of the IOSCO member who provided them.
The date next to the IOSCO member's name is the date when the alert or warning was posted on this list. Clicking on the date will redirect you to the alert or warning text on the IOSCO member's web page. To get all the necessary information, go to the IOSCO member's web page. IOSCO places alerts and warnings in a table that displays only alerts published during the previous and current months, with all published alerts available for search by the table's column contents.
