This Report supplements the Report on the results of the AQR at the system level of December 30, 2019 and describes in more detail the results of the AQR and further steps, namely, it:
This report consists of the following five main sections:· General description of the AQR programme: the organizational structure of the work performed and a brief description of the methodology are presented;· Results at the system level: the results of the interconnected blocks of AQR's work are presented, which formed the basis of the final results presented at the level of the banking system as a whole, with the aim of increasing transparency regarding the quality of assets of the banking system of Kazakhstan for the general public;· Results at the bank level: presents the results of interconnected blocks of work that formed the basis of the final results at the level of individual banks;· Corrective Action Plans: corrective action plans for banks are presented to show how the results of AQR will be taken into account in future activities;· Further steps: a general plan of action aimed at strengthening and developing the banking system of Kazakhstan and its ability to withstand crisis phenomena is outlined.
