The session of the regional maslikhat was held in Kokshetau

The fifth session of the regional maslikhat took place in Kokshetau with the participation of Akmola region akim Marat Akhmetzhanov.

The session was attended by deputies of regional and district maslikhats, heads of departments and departments, representatives of the Public Council, and the media.

During the event, the head of the region spoke about the current situation

in the region and the main directions of further socio-economic development of the region.

“The current Address of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev has a special conceptual significance, both in content and in scope. The President's instructions are distributed and assigned to the relevant state local executive and territorial bodies. Clear and precise tasks have been set, and we will implement them together,” informed M. Akhmetzhanov.

As the regional akim noted, in the region, based on the results of 8 months of 2023, the main socio-economic indicators were achieved. For example, the industrial production index was 116%, the gross agricultural output was 90.2%. The volume of commissioned housing increased by 3.2%, construction work - by 11.6%. The consumer price index was 107.6%, for food products – 107.5%. More than 20 thousand new jobs have been created. The volume of investments in fixed capital amounted to 443 billion tenge, with an increase of 27.6%, the share of private investment - 84%.

In general, it was noted that government agencies are doing a lot of work to fulfill the main socio-economic indicators; in almost all parameters, there is a positive trend with an increase in planned indicators, which has made it possible to solve many socio-economic problems of the region.

In addition, funds are provided for the development of educational facilities, healthcare, water supply, housing and communal services, transport infrastructure, and the construction of residential buildings.

Concluding his speech, the head of the region emphasized that it is necessary to act not with numbers, but with real deeds.

“I am confident that you will work tirelessly to further develop the region and improve the quality of life of the population,” concluded the head of the region.

Also at the session, changes were made to several decisions of the maslikhat, including those relating to the regional budget for 2023-2025.

Deputies of the regional maslikhat made appropriate decisions on all issues on the agenda.
