Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation visited Egindykol district of Akmola region

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Nurzhigitov visited Akmola region.
During the working trip, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov and Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov got acquainted with the reconstruction of the main water pipes from the village of Egindykol to the Stepnyak HPP of the State Enterprise for the Nurinsky Group water supply and to the village of Sabynda.
The 337 km long water pipeline is the source of water supply for 24 settlements of Egindykol, Korgalzhyn and Atbasar districts.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan is developing a POI for the reconstruction of the Nurinsky group water pipeline in the Akmola region. The project is divided into 4 stages.
"Our main task is to reconstruct the main networks with a length of about 68 km from the head structures of Sabyndy village of Korgalzhynsky district to Egindykol village and 16 km from Egindykol to Stepnyak HPP by the end of this year. Together with Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov, we examined the progress of work. The implementation of the second and third stages is planned for next year, including the replacement of head structures and cleaning of pipes," Nurzhan Nurzhigitov said.
Akim of the region Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that the implementation of this project is under the special control of the Head of State.
"We have set the task of providing the population with one hundred percent quality drinking water until 2025. Since the beginning of the work, I have been receiving video reports on the progress of work on the reconstruction of networks on a daily basis. In total, about 48 water supply projects are planned to be implemented in the region this year," the head of the region stressed.
Today, the efforts of BertysConstruction LLP and Kokshetauhydrogeology are carried out simultaneously from two directions. 330 million tenge has been allocated for the start of the project.
It should be noted that due to constant gusts on the water supply, the supply of drinking water to the Egindykol district is completely absent. In May 2023, a local emergency was declared in the district. The akimat of the district, together with entrepreneurs, carries out daily water supply to settlements from nearby areas.
