The winners of the “Mereyli Otbasy competition were honored in the Akmola region

The winners of the annual regional stage of the National Competition “Mereili Otbasy” were celebrated in Kokshetau, reports the press service of the regional akim.

An exhibition of confectionery, bakery products and other products made by representatives of the public association of mothers of large families “Asyl Analar” was organized in the lobby of the Bolashak Saray.

Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov took part in the event. In his welcoming speech, the head of the region emphasized that in his speeches the President especially emphasizes the role of the family as the main value of the nation.

“Strong and cohesive families are an indicator of a prosperous society. In order to popularize them and improve their status, many events are held in the country. One of the significant ones is the traditional national competition “Mereyli Otbasy,” said M. Akhmetzhanov.

It should be noted that this year 100 families from 17 districts and 3 cities in the region applied for participation. All of them have high labor, creative and intellectual achievements.

The Grand Prix was awarded to the Kazangapov family from the city of Kosshy. The couple raised 6 children and are cared for by 19 grandchildren. The dynasty includes teachers, military personnel, and members of the judicial system. The Satybaldinov family from the Birzhan Sal district, which took first place, raised 12 children, 8 of whom were adopted.

The second place winners were the Albaev couple from the Zerendinsky district, and the third place went to the Maulet family from the city of Kosshy. The families of the Zhiryaevs from Bulandinsky, the Lutoshkins from the Atbasarsky districts, and the Aubakirovs from Stepnogorsk were awarded certificates of encouragement.

Bring to mind  the “Mereili Otbasy” competition has been held for 10 years, in which more than 1000 Akmola families took part.
