Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov began his first visit to the regions from Atbasar region, where he met with the heads of agricultural formations of the region on problematic issues of the harvesting campaign.
Emphasizing the importance of the development of the agro-industrial complex within the framework of the Address of the Head of State, the regional akim noted that all measures would be taken to minimize losses.
“The most important thing is to use the improved weather conditions to finish the harvest in an organized manner. I have been instructed to create a commission headed by my first deputy, with the participation of all interested bodies, which, in turn, will analyze problematic issues and send a letter to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We will take all the necessary measures depending on the state, and on me as the akim of the region. The head of state pays special attention to the real sector of the economy, where one of the key is the development of agriculture and ensuring the country's food security. Our region is a large agro-industrial region. It is you who feed not only the region, but also the country,” M. Akhmetzhanov emphasized.
By the way, 16 percent of the sowing area has been harvested today.
During the meeting, the directors of LLP "Sepe-1", "Bastau", "Poltavka 2", LLP "Korzhinkol - A" and others spoke about the problems of peasant farms, including contractual obligations to JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation", JSC "Food Corporation » and other financial institutions, allocation of additional fuel for drying equipment.
“We will take a comprehensive approach to solving all problems. First of all, it is necessary to consider the issue of providing fuel for drying grain, organizing the activities of elevators for round-the-clock acceptance of the crop. We need to save every single grain. A commission created by the Ministry of Agriculture will leave for our region. There should be a synergy of power and society,” the head of the region summed up.
At the end of the meeting, the participants of the meeting thanked Marat Akhmetzhanov for his support and attention, expressing hope to resolve all issues raised.
