A regular meeting of the Akimat was held under the chairmanship of Akim of Akmola region Yermek Marzhikpayev

The meeting considered the issue of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Akmola region. The head of the regional Department of Internal Policy Altynai Amrenova reported that to date, a thematic action plan for 2021 has been developed and approved, which included more than 160 key projects and events. In total, since the beginning of this year, about 10,000 multi-format events have been implemented in the region. Of these, 12 at the international level, 30 at the national level, about 1,700 at the regional level, more than 8 thousand events at the district and city levels. The total coverage of the population by events amounted to more than 400 thousand people.

The head of the department noted the past anchor events, such as the scientific and practical conference "Science of Kazakhstan for the years of Independence. Achievements and prospects of development", the republican festival of organizations and cultural workers "Rukhani Kazyna - 2021", the opening of the alley "Tauelsizdik Zhastary" and the Arbat of Friendship with the participation of peers of independence and representatives of ethno-cultural organizations, meetings of young people with holders of the titles "Enbek Yeri" within the framework of the project "Tauelsizdik Tarlandary".

The head of the region instructed the deputies to take special control over the commissioning and opening of industrial and social facilities in accordance with the established deadlines. Akimats of districts, cities of Kokshetau, Kosshy and Stepnogorsk should provide for honoring all categories of citizens who contributed to the formation of independence, as well as ensure compliance with sanitary standards during the events.

During the discussion of the second issue, the measures of preparation for the winter period of 2021-2022 were considered. The head of the Emergency Department of the Akmola region, Colonel Nurlan Atygaev, reported on the work being carried out.

"Every year in the territory of the region, the winter period is held in a tense mode. According to preliminary forecasts, the upcoming winter, unlike last year, will lead to an increase in precipitation, snowstorms will be abundant and strong.

As practice shows, in winter most of the emergencies occur on the highways related to weather conditions," N. Atygaev explained.

According to Nurlan Atygaev, 268 heating points and 193 food points have been identified near snow-bearing areas.

The preparation of regional civil protection services for the winter period is carried out according to the decree of the akimat of the region, and the corresponding plan has also been approved.

Yermek Marzhikpayev instructed to organize timely cleaning and removal of snow from settlements, to ensure the readiness of health facilities to provide emergency medical care to the population.
