In Akmola region, as of January 1, 2025, the provision of settlements is 83.0% (502 out of 605). There are new master plans for 199 settlements.
In 2024, urban development projects for 22 settlements were developed and adjusted in the region at the expense of regional and local budgets, including:
- Stage II of the master plan and 2 PDPs for the city of Kokshetau;
- The master plan of the city of Stepnogorsk, as well as five settlements of administrative subordination: Shantobe, Kyryk Kudyk, Baikonys, Bogenbay and Izobilnoye;
- Development and construction schemes for the village of Zelenoe, Astrakhan district;
- Development and construction schemes for the villages of Sepe and A. Kurmanova, Atbasar district; - development and construction schemes for the villages of Kapitonovka and Ivankovka in Bulandy district;
- development and construction schemes for the villages of Kumsuat and Prigorodnoye in Zharkainsky district;
- development and construction schemes for the village of Bozaigyr in Shortandy district;
- development and construction schemes for the village of Kyzylzhar in Tselinograd district;
- development and construction schemes for the villages of Atameken, Vedenovka, Vishnevoye and Karazhar in Burabay district;
- adjustment of the master plan for the village of Zhibek Zholy in Arshaly district.
The development of the master plan for the city of Kosshy has been completed. The project is undergoing approval by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2025, the coordination and comprehensive urban planning examination for projects initiated in 2024 will be completed, and it is also planned:
- adjustment of the master plan for the city of Akkol in Akkol district;
- adjustment of the general plans of the city of Shchuchinsk and the village of Burabay, Burabay district;
- development of the general plan of the city of Derzhavinsk, Zharkainsky district;
- development of development and construction schemes for the villages of Sadovoe, Krasny Kardon, Shagalaly and the station of Azat, Zerenda district.
- development of a development and construction scheme for the village of Borisovka, Atbasarsky district;
- development of 3 PDPs for the city of Kokshetau.
