Information on veterinary and sanitary safety

Purposeful work is being carried out on the territory of the Akmola region to ensure epizootic well-being. As a result, today the epizootic situation for especially dangerous animal diseases in the region is favorable, which allows us to successfully implement programs in the livestock industry and freely export products and raw materials produced in our region.

This year, it is planned to study about 1.3 million heads of farm animals and birds and use 4.6 million doses of veterinary drugs against especially dangerous diseases.

537.1 thousand cattle blood samples or 91.4% of the annual Plan were delivered to the laboratory for testing for brucellosis and other especially dangerous diseases, 527.8 thousand cattle samples were examined, 98.3% of the delivered samples in the laboratory. Positively reacted to brucellosis 1832 heads of cattle. MRS delivered 601.5 thousand blood samples 89.2% of the annual plan, examined 592.4 thousand blood samples or 98.49% of the delivered volume. 265 heads reacted positively.

Measures are being taken in a timely manner to hand over farm animals positively reacting to brucellosis for stamping out.

For the second half of 2021, 80,004 veterinary certificates were issued in the region, of which: 77,321 certificates for livestock and poultry products, 2,412 for all types of agricultural and domestic animals, 271 for raw materials of animal origin and feed.

In the field, upon request, a veterinary certificate is issued by veterinarians of state veterinary organizations (veterinary stations), as well as a certified veterinarian of the production control unit of facilities, certified by signature and seal. Information about the issued veterinary certificates upon their issuance is entered into the EASU information system within a day from the date of issue of the veterinary certificate, with the exception of technical breaks due to repair work in the database.

In accordance with the requirements of the Rules for the issuance of veterinary documents, the order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 21, 2015 No. 7-1 / 453, forms of veterinary certificates were centrally produced (with a degree of protection). Accounting and issuance of issued veterinary certificates is carried out on a par with strict reporting forms.

All necessary measures are taken to ensure measures to prevent the movement of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin without veterinary accompanying documents, without pre-slaughter inspection of animals and post-slaughter inspection of carcasses and organs. In case of slaughter of animals in places not designated, a veterinary certificate is not issued, and prohibitive measures are taken.

In order to ensure the obligatory implementation by individuals and legal entities of the slaughter of farm animals intended for subsequent sale, there are currently 90 slaughter facilities in the region, including 9 meat processing enterprises, 11 slaughter stations and 70 slaughter sites.

In order to carry out veterinary control over moved farm animals in the region, to identify the facts of movement (transportation) of farm animals without accompanying documents, the Veterinary Department signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Administrative Police Department of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Akmola Region and the Veterinary Department of the Akmola Region. The memorandum determines that the objects being moved are subject to veterinary control in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
