In order to publish campaign materials of candidates for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the media, no later than December 19, 2022, must publish and submit to the Central Election Commission information on the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for providing airtime and print space (clause 3, article 28 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan").
At the same time, in accordance with part 5 of Article 112 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, the publication or broadcast of campaign materials of candidates for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan by a mass media that, no later than five days before the start of the election campaign, did not announce and publish, and also did not submit to Information to the Central Election Commission on the amount of payment, conditions and procedure for providing airtime and print space, entails a fine for officials in the amount of thirty, for legal entities in the amount of fifty monthly calculation indices.
