Crop production
The gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops is 4 million tons from an area of 4.5 million hectares with an average yield of 8.8 kg/ha.
The gross harvest of oilseeds is 135.2 thousand tons from an area of 265.1 thousand hectares with an average yield of 5.1 kg/ha.
224.4 thousand tons of fodder crops were harvested from an area of 191.4 thousand hectares with an average yield of 11.7 c/ha.
The gross harvest of potatoes is 219.5 thousand tons from an area of 20.6 thousand hectares with an average yield of 106.2 kg/ha, the gross harvest of vegetables is 35.4 thousand tons from an area of 3.5 thousand hectares with an average yield of 100.8 kg/ha.
Purchase of agricultural machinery
In January-November 2021, SHTP purchased 2084 units of equipment in the amount of 60.7 billion tenge, including:
- combine harvesters - 327 units worth 21.7 billion tenge;
- tractors - 427 units worth 17.5 billion tenge;
- seeders - 235 units in the amount of 0.4 billion tenge;
- sowing complexes - 102 units in the amount of 6.6 billion tenge;
- other equipment - 993 units worth 14.5 billion tenge.
8.5 thousand combine harvesters (including high–performance ones - 4.0 thousand), tractors – 14.5 thousand, trucks - 5.0 thousand, as well as 2.5 thousand harvesters took part in the harvest.
Animal husbandry
According to statistics, the total number of cattle in all categories of farms in the region as of December 1, 2021 is 461.5 thousand heads (101.4% compared to the corresponding period in 2020), including the number of cows – 231.1 thousand heads (102.2%).
The number of horses was 216.1 thousand heads (109.4%), poultry - 9,314.5 thousand heads (116%).
The number of sheep and goats amounted to 564.1 thousand heads (105%), pigs – 88.8 thousand heads (88%).
The region produced meat in live weight of 168.8 thousand tons (127.5%), milk produced 377.3 thousand tons (100.4%), eggs produced 725.2 million pieces (97%).
Creating farms
As part of the further development of meat cattle breeding, a roadmap has been developed for the creation of 112 farms in the region in 2021 with the acquisition of 5,9 thousand heads of beef cattle.
To date, 111 farms have been created for 6 thousand. heads (Akkol - 8 farms for 386 heads, Arshalynsky - 6 farms for 250 heads, Astrakhan - 8 farms for 712 heads, Atbasarsky - 9 farms for 305 heads, Birzhan Sal district – 6 farms for 320 heads, Bulandinsky - 3 farms for 131 heads, Burabaysky - 7 farms for 247 heads, Egindykolsky - 3 farms for 150 heads, Yerementau - 6 farms for 536 heads, Yesilsky - 6 farms for 300 heads, Zhaksynsky - 6 farms for 301 heads, Zharkainsky - 7 farms for 299 heads, Zerendinsky - 6 farms for 273 heads, Korgalzhynsky - 9 farms for 436 heads, Sandyktausky - 10 farms for 555 heads, Tselinogradsky - 3 farms for 305 heads, Shortandinsky - 4 farms for 294 heads, Stepnogorsk - 4 farms for 203 heads), 4 farms for 352 heads are in operation.
As part of the development of dairy farming this year, it is planned to create 19 MTFs with the acquisition of 4.1 thousand heads, while 19 farms for 2.3 thousand were created. heads (Akkolsky - 1 farm for 40 heads, Arshalynsky - expansion of 1 operating farm for 108 heads, Astrakhan - 1 farm for 50 heads and expansion of 1 operating farm for 400 heads, Atbasarsky - 1 farm for 300 heads, Birzhan Sal district – expansion of 2 operating farms for 210 heads, Bulandinsky – 1 farm for 50 heads, Burabaysky - 2 farms for 348 heads and the expansion of 1 existing farm for 40 heads, Yerementausky – 1 farm for 93 heads, Yesilsky - 1 farm for 50 heads, Zhaksynsky - 1 farm for 50 heads, Zerendinsky - 1 farm for 90 heads, Korgalzhynsky - 1 farm for 50 heads, Sandyktausky - 1 farm for 100 heads, Tselinogradsky – expansion of 1 operating farm for 275 heads, Shortandinsky – expansion of 1 operating farm for 93 heads), 3 farms for 1,415 heads are in operation.
Implementation of investment projects within the food belt
As part of the development of the Food belt around Nur-Sultan in 2021, 45 investment projects worth 30.7 billion tenge were implemented (657 jobs were created), including:
- 3 - for the construction of feedlots in the amount of 220 million tenge (in the Arshaly district, a fattening site of IP "Kapas Kanipa" in the amount of 40 million tenge was implemented, in the Birzhan Sal district - KazGer LLP in the amount of 80 million tenge, in the Zharkainsky district, a fattening site of Osano Agro LLP in the amount of 100 million tenge was implemented);

Recycling
There are 15 meat processing enterprises in Akmola region, with a production capacity of 87.5 thousand tons per year, 14 dairy production enterprises, with a production capacity of 137.0 thousand tons per year (Since March 2018, one of the large dairy plants in the region of Eco Milk LLP of Akkol district, whose share is 20.0%, is idle of the total capacity of milk processing enterprises. In this regard, it is excluded from the list of large dairy processing enterprises. In the 4th quarter of 2020 a new workshop was launched additionally in "Gormolzavod" LLP for 50 tons per day.) 36 flour milling enterprises with a production capacity of 794.8 thousand tons per year, 8 oilseed processing enterprises with a production capacity of 49.3 thousand tons per year.
For 11 months of 2021, food products were produced in the amount of 128.9 billion tenge (116.3% compared to the same period in 2020).
The main share in the structure of food production is occupied by the meat processing industry – 52.0%, dairy – 17.6%, grain processing – 8.3%, bread and bakery – 3.5%, other industries – 18.6%.
Meat processing
These enterprises and workshops produced 74.5 thousand tons of meat in physical terms, an increase of 48.6% compared to the same period in 2020, the volume of sausage production amounted to 2.7 thousand tons, an increase of 30.7%.
The workload of meat processing enterprises averaged 81.3% (in 2020 – 76.0%).
Milk processing
The volume of processed milk production amounted to 96.9 thousand tons, an increase of 3.2% to the same level in 2020, 1.4 thousand tons of butter were produced, an increase of 29.4%, cheese and cottage cheese – 1.4 thousand tons, an increase of 6.8%, fermented milk products - 5.9 thousand tons, an increase of 4.3%.
The workload of milk processing enterprises was 77.0% (in 2020 -74.6%).
Processing of oilseeds
19.8 thousand tons of vegetable oil were produced, a decrease of 20.9% compared to the same period in 2020 (Agro Astyk LLP - due to a decrease in orders, Sochi LLP - due to a lack of raw materials, Atbasarskaya Oil LLP - due to financial difficulties, Enbek-1 LLP - suspended production (currently not profitable to produce).
Capacity utilization of oilseed processing enterprises averaged 43.9% (in 2020 – 55.5%).
Flour production
Produced fine flour 170.2 thousand tons, a decrease of 26.2% (due to the high cost of raw materials (grain)) by the same period in 2020, the workload of flour production enterprises amounted to 23.4% (in 2020 – 26.2%).
Development of the food belt around Nur-Sultan
As part of the development of the food belt, a 300-kilometer zone has been defined, which includes all 17 districts of the region.
Currently, 128 enterprises of our region are engaged in the supply of agricultural products, including 68 – livestock products (meat and meat products, milk and dairy products), 6 - poultry (poultry meat, edible egg), 54 - crop (flour, potatoes, vegetables, vegetable oil).
They supply their products to 5 trading markets, 29 trading houses, 10 shopping centers in the city of Nur-Sultan.
There is also a network of "Akmol" stores, where large agricultural producers of the region sell their products, such as "Capital Projects LTD" LLP, "Astana Agro Product" LLP, "Izhevsk" PC, "Gormolzavod" LLP, "Agrofirma Rodina" LLP, "MilkProject" LLP, etc.
Agricultural producers of the region delivered to the capital market (as of 10.12.2021) 111.6 thousand tons of dairy products (an increase of 0.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2020), 27.4 thousand tons of meat and meat products (an increase of 0.9%), 234.4 million eggs (a decline of 10.7%).
