The Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs is working on interaction with non-governmental organizations.
Thus, within the framework of the state social order, 15 non–governmental organizations are implementing projects to provide special social services for people who find themselves in a difficult life situation - these are lonely elderly citizens, persons with disabilities, children with disabilities, victims of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking, projects to provide vocational rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, repair of wheelchairs, for the provision of Invataxi services.
Annually 565 million tenge is allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.
Representatives of public associations are members of the Coordinating Council on Disability Issues under the Akimat of Akmola region.
