October 1 – Wisdom Day
On October 1, an evening of memories "Omir zholy urpakka ulgi" was held in the Kokshetau Central City Model Library as part of the month of the elderly. The purpose of the event: to congratulate retired librarians on the holiday. Veterans of librarianship were invited, for whom a festive program was prepared with accompanying slides.
On October 2, the City Model Library at the Dostar Recreation Center held the exhibition "Karttarym – asyl kazynam". The goal is to instill in the youth the noble qualities of our people, respect the elders, take care of their ancestors and raise them on traditions, educate them in kindness.
The exhibition is dedicated to the Day of the Elderly. The exhibition presents books on health and longevity, the problem of overcoming age-related crises and establishing a dialogue between generations, literature on proper nutrition with recipes for healthy dishes, skin and hair care, and traditional ways of healing. During the event, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the village of Krasny Yar E.S. Abishev, Sansyzbai Abuov, Zhenis Shuikenov talked with young people, shared their memories and answered their questions.
The Stepnogorsk Central Library In the central city library held a grandmother's show "Ak zhaulykty dana Ageler", dedicated to the Day of the Elderly. On the 100th anniversary of the writer Abdizhamil Nurpeisov
On October 3, the Akmola Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Magzhan Zhumabayev organized a literary evening "Kurland kaharmany" at the lyceum school No. 18 named after Saken Zhunusov, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writer Abdizhamil Nurpeisov. At the event, students were presented with interesting information about the life and creative path of a prominent representative of Kazakh literature. On October 3, an online seminar "Zhuregimdegi Kazakhstan" was held dedicated to the 60th anniversary of poet-aitysker, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Journalists, founder of the republican club "Zhas Gabdullinshiler" Kudaiberli Myrzabek. The seminar was held jointly with the multidisciplinary gymnasium No. 3 named after Malik Gabdullin in Kokshetau.

Competition of young artists "Korikti Kokshom men"
On October 23, the final stage of the competition of young artists "Korikti Kokshem menin", dedicated to the Republic Day and the Day of the city of Kokshetau, took place in the city model Kazakh library.
The aim of the competition is to educate the younger generation through love for their country, land, homeland, increase interest in art among children with the ability to draw, as well as improve their skills and contribute to the promotion of the Republic Day and Kokshetau City Day through the development of students' imagination.
The competition consisted of 2 stages, students from 18 schools of the city applied to participate in the competition. According to the decision of the jury, 10 out of the total number of submitted works by the participants of the competition went to the second round.
The jury of the competition selected the creative works of young artists according to special criteria and as a result, the best ones were determined.
According to the results of the competition, Kamila Kozhakhmetova, a student of secondary school No. 12, took the first place, Satbek Adina, a student of secondary school No. 18 named after Saken Zhunisov, was awarded the second place, and Islyam Marzhan, a student of secondary school No. 19, took the third place.

This year, poet, zhyrshy, playwright, amateur composer Kudaiberli Myrzabek turned 60 years old. In order to celebrate this anniversary with dignity, on October 3, 2024, a solemn event "Tyndatam zher sharyna zhuregimdi ..." literary and musical evening was held at the Museum of Literature and Art.
Creative personalities, representatives of the intelligentsia, and cultural workers took part in this event.
