Archaeological and ethnographic complex "Kumay"
The creation of an open-air ethnopark of the archaeological and ethnographic complex "Kumai" within the framework of the Basic project " Internal and pilgrimage tourism "of the sub-program" rukhani Kazyna " is currently a priority for us of an innovative nature for the following reasons:
The goal of this project is the revival of national identity through the prism of further study and promotion of the Turkic period in the history of Kazakhstan.
Tasks: Formation of historical self-consciousness of the people, moral and Patriotic values.
Chronological periods of monuments: the bronze age, Saka, Hunnic and Turkic periods of the II-th Millennium BC, II-V and VI-VIII centuries ad.
Characteristics of sacred monuments: cult memorial structures with steles and stone statues of heroic figures, which contain unique memorial monuments with sculptures of various representatives of ancient and medieval society. Monuments were created in honor of great personalities who during their lifetime protected the Motherland, the space of the great Steppe. As a result, they acquired the status of saints and were objects of worship. Such people created temples, installing their stone sculptures of ritual structures.
In the process of studying, an important direction should be knowledge, attracting tourists. For example, excursions to natural and historical sites of the region can be organized on a systematic basis. A purposeful approach to the development of this direction will contribute to the formation of a fully developed personality, because future ecologists, historians, and ethnographers grow up from a generation that is interested in the history of their native land. Therefore, we believe that the main indicator of the project's implementation is attracting tourists
The implementation period 2017-2020 years.
For this purpose, a budget application will be prepared for consideration by the authorized bodies in order to allocate funds from the local budget. The search for additional investors in the framework of PPP is also carried out.
After all, it is well known that the full development of the tourism and historical and cultural industry depends on the development of infrastructure. And, accordingly, the first steps to attract investors are already being taken.
For example, on 23 July 2017 archaeological and ethnographic complex "Kumai" in Yereimentau district, was visited by adviser to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, doctor of historical Sciences, archaeologist Mustafa Kalkan and the Turkish management on cooperation and development in the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA) Ali Iksan Çağlar.
The final result of the project: the Formation of the historical consciousness of the people, moral and Patriotic values. Getting a positive effect on the population of the region and the Republic of Kazakhstan, when familiarizing with the project through the mass media, social networks.
