The first in Kazakhstan: Akmola region shares its experience in conducting public monitoring of the implementation of national projects

During the weekly webinar on project management and organization of project activities (Y-Friday), the team of the Project Office of Akmola region shared an interesting case of successful implementation of the public monitoring mechanism.

A public monitoring group has been working in the region since the end of last year. The initiator of public monitoring of the implementation of national projects is the NGO "Consumers of services of natural monopolies of the Akmola region".

In all schools of the region, public monitoring of the implementation of paragraph 41 of the Roadmap of the Amanat party ("Equipping schools with classrooms of a new modification in the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, STEM") was carried out.

Arman Sadykov, Chairman of the Board of this public association, shared the preliminary results of public monitoring. He recalled that in October 2021, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved a list of national projects. A week later, Arman Sadykov began interacting with the National Project Office, delving into the work of the Easy Projects information system. Since February 2022, work has begun on public monitoring of the offices of the new modification in the schools of the city of Kokshetau with the participation of representatives of the parties "Amanat", "NPK", deputies of the city maslikhat and other public figures.

"To carry out this work, we have developed a checklist, which is coordinated with the National Project Office. The monitoring itself is organized in close cooperation with the Project Office of the Akmola region and the Department of Education of the region," Sadykov said.

He added that based on the results of the monitoring, the checklists were analyzed, recommendations and proposals were prepared, which were sent to the head of the project office and interested departments.

The speaker noted that he sees prospects for improving the mechanism of public monitoring through comparative analysis based on annual monitoring. That is, the work carried out now appears as a fixation of the current situation, and in the following years you can observe the dynamics of work performance and see the development.

Thus, public activists carried out work on 446 schools of the Akmola region.
