The Department of Digitalization and Archives of Akmola region, regarding the quality of mobile Internet and communication services, informs the following: as part of the ongoing work to improve the quality of communication in the suburbs of Nur-Sultan, 18 base stations of wireless high-speed Internet using the "FWA" technology will be installed by the end of this year.
The new technology is based on the use of radio signals, and the Internet speed can reach an average of 30 to 50 megabits per second, since "FWA" has a dedicated band – this is the frequency that allows only subscribers of this service to use wireless home Internet. At the same time, subscribers of mobile operators are on other frequencies.
According to the FWA project development plan, the launch schedule of base stations was approved (Table No. 1). To date, 3 BS have been launched in Kosshy, installation work has been carried out on 15 sites, 8 of them have been organized and it is planned to connect to the Tele2 core by the end of September (Table 2), links to the photo are indicated in Table No. 3. Summary information on the availability of wired networks by technology is shown in Table No. 4.
