New youth center opens in Almaty region

On the eve of Independence Day, a modern coworking center for youth was opened in the Balkhash district of Almaty region.

This center was a long-awaited important event for the youth of the region. The center, which will allow young people, who make up one third of the population of the Balkhash district, to comprehensively develop, effectively spend their free time and receive the necessary information, is now operating.

The center will provide young people with psychological and legal assistance, financial literacy advice, and sevelopment of youth centers

Youth centers have been developing rapidly in the Almaty region since the beginning of the year. Previously, such centers were launched in the city of Kunayev and Kegen district, and another center will be opened in Raiymbek district in December. And next year, the construction of a new center is planned in the city of Kaskelen.upport in finding a job.

Development of youth centers

The head of the regional youth policy department, Madi Akhmetov, noted the importance of work in this direction.

“Currently, there are more than 420 thousand young people aged 14 to 35 in the Almaty region. Previously, there were no centers for young people who could provide assistance and gather in difficult times. We are solving this problem in stages. In the future, we plan to create a modern infrastructure for young people in all districts of the region. This will allow us to work systematically with young people,” he said.

New opportunities for young people

Coworking centers are becoming an important platform for socializing the youth of the region. Business trainings, master classes, exhibitions, meetings and various clubs are held here for free.

Since the beginning of the year, about 700 events have been organized in the centers opened in the city of Kunayev and Kegen district, involving more than 9 thousand young people. The events are mainly focused on the intellectual, IT and creative industries. In addition, meetings on creating a business network, interviews with famous people and master classes were held in these centers.

The new center opened in the Balkhash district will continue work in this direction and contribute to increasing the potential of young people.
