The team received a grant "Tauelsizdik urpaktary" and a Young Award from the mayor of Almaty region"Zangar"?

A solemn ceremony of awarding the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant and the youth award of the Akim of the Almaty region "Zangar", organized by the youth resource Center of the Almaty region under the Department of Youth Policy of the Almaty region, took place in the city of Kunaev.

The purpose of the event is to increase the potential of the younger generation and support the best projects in the Almaty region. The Youth Award of the akim of Almaty region "Zangar" was established in 2022 and continued this year to stimulate the youth of the region aged 14 to 35 years, who actively participates in youth policy and shows an example to other young people in various fields.

The Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant was established in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the basis of the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant from 2021 in order to support youth initiatives at the national level in the field of culture, science, business, media, IT.

In 2023, about 70 applications for the Tauelsizdik Urpaktary grant were registered, to date, 10 young people have become grant holders. The grantees were awarded a grant in the amount of 3 million tenge. About 160 participants applied for the Zangar Youth Award. The winners of the youth award "zangar" were awarded 300,000 tenge.
