"Sagadat Batyr" sports club opened in Almaty region

On May 7, a new gym of the Sagadat Batyr sports club will open in the village of Zhainak in the Almaty region on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

The gym, which instills military-patriotic education in the younger generation, instills patriotism and leads to a healthy lifestyle, is one of the kind initiatives dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany Sagadat Nurmagambetov.

Within the framework of the event, the chairman of the Alatau Zhastary association, the founder of the Sagadat Batyr sports club, the owner of the black belt in Jiu-jitsu, Nursultan Orynbasarov, held a master class for rural youth. Three-time world champion in hand-to-hand combat Sora Rakhmonova also shared her experience.

In general, the history of this sports club began 9 years ago, during this time several branches were opened, about a thousand teenagers learn the basics of jiu-jitsu, grappling, become multiple world champions, masters of sports of international class and continue to celebrate the anniversary of our country.

According to the organizers, the socially significant project will be continued and launched in other villages of the region.
