Good deeds on Unity Day

Volunteers of the Almaty region, together with youth organizations, visited more than 500 veterans and lonely elderly people, helped to restore and improve their homes. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information.

During the ongoing campaign of good deeds, the regional Assembly sent 25 tons of humanitarian aid and construction materials to the North Kazakhstan region, where young people are still fighting floods.
Earlier, the Almaty region sent more than 300 tons of aid to the affected regions.

As part of the Onegeli Urpak Week, 5,000 volunteers will gather in the regions for the Taza Kazakhstan campaign, who will help lonely pensioners in household activities, clean and beautify courtyards.
