How the Youth of Almaty Region Supports the “Taza Qazaqstan” Program

The support of the youth for the "Taza Qazaqstan" environmental program reflects a growing interest in environmental protection and sustainable development. Young people in the region actively participate in various initiatives such as community clean-ups, environmental campaigns, educational projects, and volunteer activities. In the Zhambyl district, activities included cleaning and landscaping public spaces, streets, markets, and waterfront areas. More than 100 young local residents actively participated in the event. Their involvement not only improved the environment but also fostered a sense of civic responsibility. Such initiatives strengthen the community and draw attention to the importance of environmental care.

After the clean-up, participants held an outdoor challenge. More than 100 people took part in events dedicated to the campaign. At the end of all activities, symbolic prizes were awarded, adding joy and motivation to the ecological event. This initiative highlights the importance of environmental responsibility and inspires people to make regular efforts to maintain cleanliness in their communities.

Chairperson of the Almaty Regional Civil Alliance, Dosaly Balzhan, expressed support for the "Taza Qazaqstan" program:

The national "Taza Qazaqstan" program involves active participation from government agencies, private organizations, agricultural enterprises, youth, volunteer and non-governmental organizations, as well as deputies of local councils.
