More than 70% of grain crops were harvested in Zhetysu

About 331.3 thousand hectares or 70.5% of grain crops have been harvested, 625.5 thousand tons have been threshed with an average yield of 18.9 centners per hectare.

According to the regional Department of agriculture, 11.0 thousand hectares or 7.1% of oilseeds were harvested, 10.5 thousand tons of oilseeds were collected with an average yield of 9.6 centners per hectare. Potatoes and vegetable and melon crops were harvested on an area of 51.3 thousand hectares or 66.6%, 1 264.7 thousand tons were collected with an average yield of 246.4 centners per hectare.
