730 million tenge was allocated for the purchase of personal protective equipment

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 730 million tenge has been allocated from the reserve of the Government and the local budget for the purchase of personal protective equipment in Almaty region. This was announced by Deputy Governor of the region Bauyrzhan Baizhumanov during an online briefing today.

Тoday Almaty region has a monthly supply of personal protective equipment, including 850 thousand masks, 150 thousand pairs of gloves and 45 thousand sets of protective disposable suits. In General, since the beginning of the pandemic, 730 million tenge has been allocated from the reserve of the Government and the local budget for the purchase of personal protective equipment. It is planned to allocate additional financial resources for the purchase of PPE for the autumn-winter period.
