Kanat Bozumbayev spoke about the prospects for the development of the Almaty region. According to the head of the region, in order to improve the standard of living and increase the incomes of the population, a plan for further development of the region has been developed. In parallel with traditional industries, it focuses on the extraction and processing of mineral raw materials, the maximum use of transit potential, the development of alternative energy and tourism, which can become a full-fledged driver of the economy.
