Development of mountain tourism cluster was discussed

At the initiative of the аkim of Almaty region, a round table on the development of mountain tourism was held in Almaty. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments, the leaderships of the region and the Almaty city, heads of the largest ski resorts discussed the potential, priority locations, and problematic issues of mountain tourism development. The main outcome of the meeting was the decision to develop a single trilateral master plan that synchronizes the activities of akimats of Almaty region, Almaty city and the business community while creating a competitive tourist environment in the Almaty agglomeration.
