Kapshagai farmers have a good of onions harvest

Onions are traditionally one of the most popular agricultural crops among farmers of the Shengeldy. This crop is practically a brand of this region. Dutch varieties of onions are grown on farms. These varieties are rich in vitamins and minerals, with more than 10 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 g of the product. The pulp of the bulb is characterized by density, medium humidity, bitter or insular taste, suitable for universal use. This year, Kapshagai farmers received a rich harvest. About 85 thousand tons of onions were harvested from about 1700 hectares of sown areas with an average yield of 506.3 c/ha.
