Sugar beet production will be increased to 2 million tons

At the initiative of the Government, the production of sugar beet in Almaty region is planned to increase to 2 million tons. To achieve this goal, an additional 36.8 thousand hectares of irrigated land will be put into circulation. This was announced today by the governor of the region Amandyk Batalov in the course of the government selector with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar.
