Developing fisheries

In the Aksu district, they began to develop a fishing industry. So, in the village Curuksu LLP "Karatal" established the office of Vasa for growing berries. 9 million fry of Amur carp were sent to the ponds of the incubation shop. In general, in the Almaty region, fish farms in the region this year produced commercial fish in the amount of 1 thousand tons. In order to increase production volumes until 2022, it is planned to implement 6 projects worth 1.9 billion tenge with a total capacity of 13 thousand tons of commercial products per year and create 120 jobs in the region.

Fishing is also actively developing in the Balkhash district, where fishing plays a leading role in the economy of the district. Now there are 16 fish farms in the district. As of today, about 51 million tenge has been received from this sphere in the district budget. It is important that 354,294 fish are distributed across reservoirs and fish farms for reproduction and breeding of juveniles.
