Developing the tourist potential of the Uyghur region

The natural and climatic conditions of the Uyghur region are conducive to active development of tourism in the region. The district was visited by 62 thousand 500 tourists. The guests were provided with services in the amount of 310 million 500 thousand tenge. Especially active vacationers visit hot springs and unique natural monuments.

There are 2-3-4-bed and luxury rooms for receiving tourists, bathing baths, outdoor and indoor pools, and food outlets in medical institutions on healing hot water sources.

Another favorite place for tourists located in the Uyghur region is the well-known Charyn National Park. The park includes a unique natural monument – the Charyn Canyon, which stretches for 154 km along the Charyn River. It is composed of sedimentary rocks aged about 12 million years and with a height of 150 to 300 meters. The valley of castles, the relict ash grove – these are just some of the most famous places of the amazing, striking with its power and unusual beauty of the Charyn Canyon. The created national park will allow you to protect, preserve, study and restore the natural complex, as well as conduct scientific research, develop eco-tourism.
