More than 270 families received social support in Alakol district

According to the information of Alakol district akimat, at the expense of the "Bilim Beru" fund were used to purchase food for 272 low-income families covering 24 rural districts. In particular, 2.5 tons of meat, 6 tons of flour, 252 liters of vegetable oil, as well as about 2.6 tons of rice and about 1.3 tons of sugar. 20 tons of coal were delivered to 10 families.

During the state of emergency declared in connection with the pandemic, charitable support to the district was provided by sponsor and entrepreneurs of the region as: E. Abdrakhmanov, D. Konygyn, B. Ospanov, A. Kystaubayev.

The decision to organize charity events on the eve of the holidays in order to support the population of the region was made by the local executive and authorized bodies together. More and more entrepreneurs are involved in it. In the framework of activities provides a number of support measures, such as delivery of coal and firewood, food assistance, Christmas gifts for children, winter clothes for children from low-income families, purchase school supplies, financial support to families. About 46 million tenge were allocated from the budget for these activities and 276.4 million tenge is planned to be allocated from the funds of sponsors. It is expected that the number of people who will be assisted in the region will be about 20 thousand people.
