The growth rate of coronavirus cases in the region was 0.7%

The growth rate of coronavirus cases was 0.7% over the past week, 61 cases were detected over the past day. In General,  6,725 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the region, of which 5,758 people have recovered. This was announced by the deputy akim of the region Batyrzhan Baizhumanov during a briefing on the implementation of anti-epidemic measures in the region today.

About 13 billion tenge was allocated for measures to combat the pandemic, of which 8.9 billion tenge was allocated for preparing for the second wave. Much attention is paid to equipping medical institutions with everything necessary. A modern modular hospital with 200 beds was built in Taldykorgan in a short time. On the basis of multi-specialty hospitals in Taldykorgan and Almaty, 2 COVID centers have been created, equipped with modern equipment for providing emergency care to seriously ill patients. Also, on the basis of children's infectious diseases hospitals, 2 children's COVID centers are additionally equipped. Now there are more than 500 ventilators in the region. 15 hospitals in the region are provided with oxygen stations. 12 mobile medical complexes were purchased, which are mini-clinics on wheels and 180 ambulances, thanks to which sanitary vehicles were updated by 80%.
