Grain harvesting has been completed in the region

Harvesting of grain crops has been completed in Almaty region. In total, 469,8 thousand hectares or 100% were harvested and 1411,1 thousand tons were harvested with an average yield of 30,0 centners per hectare.

About 86,4 thousand hectares of corn were harvested for grain, 581,3 thousand tons were collected with an average yield of 67,3 centner/ ha; rice-10.6 thousand hectares, 36,3 thousand tons were collected with an average yield of 34,2 centner/ ha. 154.6 thousand hectares or 100% of oilseeds were harvested, 288.3 thousand tons of oilseeds were harvested with an average yield of 18.6 centners per hectare. Potatoes and vegetable and melon crops were harvested on that area for abou  77,1 thousand hectares out of 77,1 thousand hectares (100%), 1,901,477 thousand tons were collected with an average yield of 246.6 centner/ ha.

For grain acceptance, there are 265 grain warehouses with a capacity of 771 thousand tons, including 2 licensed grain receiving enterprises for 58,6 thousand tons.
