The issues of development of the Balkhash lake have been discussed

The development of mountain tourism and the coast of lake Balkhash was presented to the governor of the region by Talgat Kainarbekov - akim of the Sarkand district.

The developing design and estimate documentation for the project "Construction of engineering communication networks of tourist-recreational zones of "Balkhash" on the coast of Balkhash lake, Lepsy village of Sarkand district" by 115.0 mln.tenge. In 2019 year  - 47.8 million tenge was allocated and disbursed, in 2020 year – 67.2 million tenge, of which 37.4 million tenge was disbursed.

During today's meeting, the work on road construction, power transmission lines, and engineering infrastructure that is being carried out within the framework of the General plan was discussed. In particular, according to the project, it is planned to build 15 km of roads, 50 km of water supply, 40 km of sewage, 55 km of electric networks. The project institution proposed to lay power lines through the substations Tentek, Kokterek, Lepsy. However, govnernor of the region noted that this work should be divided into two stages, and the first stage should be carried out through the nearest substation of Lepsy.

During the meeting, the Governor of the region supported the proposal of T. Kainarbekov on the need to repair roads to increase interest in mountain tourism, instructing to make all the necessary calculations.
