Almaty region managed to maintain positive dynamics in the main sectors of the economy

Industrial growth of the region was 3.1% (846.7 billion tenge), agriculture – 2.4% (634.6 billion tenge), construction – 11.6% (208.2 billion tenge), 712.4 thousand square meters of housing were introduced in the region. 437.9 billion tenge of investments were attracted with an increase of 8.8% (when in republic it is – 95.1%).

"2020 turned out to be a difficult year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the peoples way of life has almost completely changed. The anti-crisis measures taken by the government of the country on behalf of the President  - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, so Almaty region managed to maintain positive dynamics in the main sectors of the economy and continue working to create favorable living conditions for the population, " - said governor of the region.
