Solar power plants as «Kapshagay» with a capacity of 3 MW and «Sarybulak» with a capacity of 4.95 MW were commissioned. The projected annual output of both SPS will be 14.1 million kWh. The investor and general contractor of the new generation facilities were the structures of the «Hevel» group of companies.
According to the mayor's office of Kapshagai, the new solar power plants are equipped with solar tracking systems. Tracker installations track the position of the sun and automatically provide the most efficient orientation of solar modules. Еlectricity generation increases by an average of 20-25% compared to the static method of arrangement of the photovoltaic system.
The projected annual output of both SES will be 14.1 million kWh, which will avoid 7.5 thousand tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. All electricity will be supplied to the Unified electric power system of the country.
